Jarred Jamone Crowley or “Quick” as he was known by family and friends, was born on Jan. 23, 1985 in Trenton. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Iksan Hospital in Iksan, South Korea.
Jarred graduated from Hamilton West High School in 2003. Jarred received Freshman MVP (2000); 3-Year Varsity Basketball and Football; Hornet Varsity Athletic MIP (2003); and Senior Year Homecoming and Prom King (2002-2003). He attended Kean University where he excelled in football and was the recipient of Kean University’s Football “Big ‘Kat’ Award” (2005). Jarred also played football with many associations including the Middlesex Vikings.
He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in June 2009 and was selected as the Student Leader for his class earning “Red Rope” status. Following graduation, he ranked as an Airman First Class and was assigned to the 8th Security Forces Squadron at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea.
Jarred had a winning smile that could light up any room. He was a loving son, devoted brother, great friend and true defender. Jarred was a true inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know him. Jarred was a member of the New Life Christian Center for 16 years.
Predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Willie and Katie Crowley and Edward Marvin, maternal grandparents, John and Gussie Pickron, surviving are his parents, Larry and Thretha Crowley; two brothers, Demond and Larry Crowley Jr. both of Trenton; a godsister, Lashanda Allen; an uncle, John Pickron (Carrie) of Virginia Beach, Va.; four aunts, Vivian Brumby of Trenton, Dorothy Hall (Gregory) of Lumberton, Sharon Crowley of Trenton, Marian Johnson (Phillip) of San Antonio, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins and friends.
